Position Overview
CONSTANT is seeking experienced Covert Loss Prevention Officers on a casual basis to support a major retail client in Hobart CBD. Officers will monitor for suspicious activity, recover merchandise, maintain accurate reports, and liaise with store management and local authorities as required.
Shift Details
Shifts are available on Tuesdays and Fridays:
• 10:00–18:00
• 11:00–19:00
• 12:00–20:00
Minimum shift length: 8 hours
Pay Rates
• Weekdays: $36.08/hr
• Weeknights: $42.34/hr
• Saturdays: $50.51/hr
Key Responsibilities
• Observe and identify suspicious behaviours within the store environment.
• Recover stock and prevent theft in a discreet and professional manner.
• Liaise with store management and police as required.
• Maintain accurate and thorough incident and shift reports.
• Ensure compliance with client protocols and safety procedures.
Requirements
• Current Tasmanian Security Officer Licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Proven experience in retail loss prevention.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Applications lacking any of the above will not be considered.
