SECURITY OFFICER – SMEATON GRANGE, NSW

About the Role
A major security services provider is expanding its operations across NSW and is seeking Security Officers to support a growing portfolio in Smeaton Grange. These casual roles form part of a response and support team, contributing to incident management, site coverage, safety monitoring, and operational continuity. Officers may work across multiple locations and play an active part in response roles involving emergency situations and public events. The positions are supported by the Operations Team and Duty Managers.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver professional customer service to visitors, tenants, contractors, and clients
• Manage gatehouse operations, including access screening and vehicle control
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems proactively
• Conduct building patrols and report safety or security risks
• Identify hazards, faults, and maintenance concerns
• Support onsite facilities and tenant requirements
• Manage contractor access, deliveries, and dock operations
• Respond to emergency situations and follow established procedures
• Maintain accurate reports, logs, and documentation
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Candidate Requirements
• Strong customer service capability
• Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts across days, nights, and weekends
• Australian citizenship or unrestricted work rights
• Confident written communication and report writing skills
• Competent with security systems, CCTV, access control, and Microsoft programs
• Physically capable of extended walking and standing
• Crowd Control endorsement (highly desirable)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
