Mobile Patrol Security Officer – Level 2

Role Overview
We are seeking dependable and professional Mobile Patrol Security Officers to support after-hours and response operations across multiple client sites. This role is critical to maintaining site security through mobile patrols, alarm response, and incident management across assigned patrol zones.
These positions are well suited to individuals who are comfortable working independently, responding to dynamic situations, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism in varied environments. Strong operational support is provided through dedicated operations and duty management teams.
Roster Structure
- Predominantly night shifts for a four-week cycle
- Followed by weekend day shifts for one week
- Rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and ad-hoc mobile patrols across designated client locations
- Respond promptly to alarm activations and security incidents
- Secure and open premises in accordance with client instructions
- Identify, assess, and report hazards, risks, or suspicious behaviour
- Complete clear and accurate patrol and incident documentation
- Liaise with control room personnel, emergency services, and clients as required
- Operate patrol vehicles and security equipment safely and responsibly
- Maintain a professional presence and deliver consistent customer service.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current unarmed Security Licence
- Minimum of one year experience in a security role
- Valid driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving history
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Working With Children Check
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong observation, communication, and written reporting skills
- Physical capability to perform patrol and response duties independently
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- National police check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable Experience
- Previous mobile patrol or alarm response experience
- Familiarity with reporting systems and alarm response procedures
