An opportunity is available for an experienced and driven Security Supervisor to oversee operations at a high-activity site. Roster
- Monday: 07:00 – 15:00
- Tuesday: 07:00 – 16:00
- Wednesday: 07:00 – 16:00
- Thursday: 12:00 – 22:00
- Sunday: 12:00 – 22:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of on-site Security Officers
- Oversee control room functions, including CCTV and monitoring systems
- Act as the primary on-site contact for the client and escalate matters to regional management as required
- Identify, assess, and manage site-specific security risks
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and requests for assistance
- Apply and enforce site Standard Operating Procedures
- Engage professionally and effectively with persons of interest
- Communicate clearly with staff, clients, and members of the public
- Utilise operational communication tools, including two-way radios
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance
- Complete reports and enter data into client and site systems in line with procedures
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new personnel
Essential Criteria
- Current and valid Security Licence
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role within security
- Strong verbal and written communication, with sound conflict management skills
- Ability to work autonomously while following established procedures
- High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct
- Ability to manage on-site client relationships and stakeholder expectations
