Hourly Rate: $34.89 per hour + superannuation + applicable shift penalties
Employment Type: Casual, with the opportunity to transition to permanent full-time

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Casual Security Officer to support operations at Coffs Harbour Airport. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient airport environment, with responsibilities across security screening and customer-facing duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct passenger and checked baggage screening in accordance with aviation security requirements
- Manage queues and monitor access points at security screening areas
- Deliver professional, courteous service to passengers and airport stakeholders
- Adhere strictly to regulatory, safety, and compliance obligations
- Accurately complete incident and compliance reports as required
About You
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection, or willingness to undertake paid training
- Current Security Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing
- Strong attention to detail and a customer service–focused approach
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
