Casual Airport Security Officer – Coffs Harbour

Hourly Rate: $34.89 per hour + superannuation + applicable shift penalties

Employment Type: Casual, with the opportunity to transition to permanent full-time

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Casual Security Officer to support operations at Coffs Harbour Airport. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient airport environment, with responsibilities across security screening and customer-facing duties.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct passenger and checked baggage screening in accordance with aviation security requirements
Manage queues and monitor access points at security screening areas
Deliver professional, courteous service to passengers and airport stakeholders
Adhere strictly to regulatory, safety, and compliance obligations
Accurately complete incident and compliance reports as required

About You

Certificate II in Transport Security Protection, or willingness to undertake paid training
Current Security Licence (preferred but not essential)
Full Australian working rights
Ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing
Strong attention to detail and a customer service–focused approach
Clear verbal and written communication skills
