MSS Security is seeking professional and reliable Casual Security Officers to support high-profile government clients in Launceston. This is a static guarding role suited to individuals who work well in team-based environments and maintain a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and public service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a professional first point of contact for staff and visitors
- Provide assistance with enquiries, access, and directions
- Monitor and control building access points
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents or security concerns
- Work collaboratively to maintain high security and service standards
Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate:
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Confidence and assertiveness in managing challenging situations
- A professional, calm, and team-oriented approach
Mandatory Requirements:
- Full Australian working rights
- Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations
- Current Tasmanian Security Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
- Working With Vulnerable People Check, or willingness to obtain
