Security Officer – Hospitality & Events

Location: Penrith, NSW, Australia

Employment Type: Casual

Availability: Friday & Saturday nights, public holidays & special events

Penrith Panthers are seeking professional, customer-focused Security Officers to join their busy venue operations team. This is a front-of-house, hands-on role suited to individuals who thrive in high-energy hospitality environments and can manage patron safety with confidence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the safety and security of patrons, staff, and property
Perform concierge duties including greeting and signing in members and guests
Monitor patron behaviour, RSA compliance, and entry requirements
Manage intoxicated or disruptive patrons professionally
Conduct patrols of venue, car parks, and external areas as required
Operate within Panthers policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

What We’re Looking For

Previous security experience (hospitality/club environment highly regarded)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Physically fit, reliable, and punctual
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
High standard of personal presentation and professionalism
Community-minded with a positive, team-focused attitude

Mandatory Requirements

Current NSW 1A Security Licence
Current First Aid, RSA, and RCG
Current Driver’s Licence
Ability to work Friday & Saturday nights, public holidays, and major events

Pay Rates (Casual)

Weekdays: $36.50/hr
Saturday: $43.80/hr
Sunday: $51.11/hr
Public Holidays: $73.01/hr
