Event Control Room Operator (CRO)

Roster: 24/7 Rotating (Days / Nights / Weekends / Events)
ACESGroup is seeking experienced Event Control Room Operators to support some of Sydney’s most high-profile venues and live events. This role sits at the centre of real-time event operations, providing situational awareness, communications coordination, and incident management within fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live events via CCTV and integrated security systems
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical events in line with SOPs
- Coordinate communications with on-ground teams and stakeholders
- Control access to restricted areas and accreditation zones
- Log and report incidents accurately using digital systems
- Support emergency response coordination and information flow
- Ensure control room systems and communications remain operational
Essential Requirements
- Current NSW 1A Security Licence (minimum 12 months)
- Proven Event Control Room Operator (CRO) experience
- Ability to operate under pressure in live-event environments
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills
- Availability for rotating 24/7 rosters (including weekends & public events)
- Current RSA, First Aid & CPR
- NSW Driver Licence
- Strong customer service skills and professional presentation
- Ability to pass a LLND assessment
Desirable / Willing to Obtain
- Traffic Control / ITMP
- White Card
- Fire Warden / Chief Warden training
