Part-Time Control Room Officer – Adelaide CBD

About the Role
Wilson Security is expanding its presence across Adelaide, creating new opportunities for skilled Control Room Officers to join our team. These part-time positions support the operation of multiple client sites, ensuring safety, security, and smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a critical role within our Adelaide team, providing support for a variety of operational and response activities including emergency management and high-profile events.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional customer service to visitors, contractors, and clients
- Undertake gatehouse duties and access control monitoring
- Monitor CCTV and electronic security systems proactively
- Conduct building patrols and identify safety or security risks
- Report hazards, maintenance issues, and incidents in line with procedures
- Support tenants and facilities teams, including contractor and delivery management
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and alarm activations
- Complete ad-hoc operational duties as required
About You
- Strong customer service focus with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to support other roles when required
- Availability to work across rotational rosters including nights, days, and weekends
- Australian citizen or holder of unlimited Australian work rights
- Previous experience in corporate real estate or commercial site operations is highly desirable
- Competent in preparing reports and documentation
- Proficient with security-related systems (Access Control, CCTV) and Microsoft Office programs
- Physically capable of walking and standing for extended periods
- Valid South Australian Security Licence (including Monitoring Subclass)
- Crowd Control endorsement is highly desirable
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
