About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and suitably licensed Security Officer to support works within an aviation-related construction environment. This role requires a strong focus on site security, procedural compliance, and attention to detail. The successful applicant must meet all regulatory requirements and be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the security of all access points within designated service areas
- Ensuring doors, locks, and hoarding systems remain secure unless under direct supervision
- Preventing unauthorised access to restricted areas
- Completing end-of-shift site inspections, including:
- Identifying and securing unattended tools or equipment
- Verifying all access points and locking mechanisms are fully operational
- Confirming the site is left in a safe and secure condition
Mandatory Requirements
- Full Australian working rights
- Current South Australian Security Licence
- Ability to operate UHF radio communications effectively
- Valid ASIC, or willingness to obtain
- Current driver’s licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card), or willingness to obtain

- Ability to follow structured security protocols
- Physically capable of conducting patrols and inspections
- Professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach
