Role Overview
A premium-grade commercial precinct in Melbourne CBD is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead and coordinate all on-site security operations. This position oversees the safety of tenants, visitors, staff, and physical assets within a high-profile building environment. The role offers stable weekday hours and a competitive salary package.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage security strategies, procedures, and site-wide protocols
• Lead and support a team of security officers, including coordination of contractors and tenant relations
• Ensure all security operations meet legal, regulatory, and industry compliance requirements
• Oversee incident response, investigations, reporting, and emergency preparedness
• Engage with local authorities, operational stakeholders, and building management to maintain a secure environment
• Monitor and optimise access control, CCTV, and related security systems
• Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and operational reporting
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum four years’ experience in a security management or senior supervisory role, ideally within commercial real estate or precinct management
• Relevant security qualifications and licences
• Strong leadership capability with demonstrated team management experience
• Proven expertise in security systems, emergency response procedures, and stakeholder communication
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and decision-making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
